This was Camilla's very 1st show, at 7 months, and she loved every minute and the judges love her too. We're very excited to continue showing with these 2 pretty girls. Sadly, however, our gorgeous Dreamy has told us he is happier to stay home. He does not like the cats in the show hall, so we are so sad that he will not continue in the shows. | We had a wonderful time at the 7th International Ragdoll Congress September 24-26, 2010 Denver, Colorado Oh my goodness! ...what a truly remarkable, magical weekend! We so enjoyed seeing old friends, meeting new ones, and of course, showing our beautiful Blossom kitties and seeing so many amazing Ragdolls. But the real gift of all was having Denny Dayton there; he is one of the very 1st developers of the Ragdoll breed, and is now 85 years old. Denny is sweet, healthy and sharp as a tack! Oh, how I thoroughly enjoyed and cherished his company! He spent the entire weekend with us; at the seminars, in the show hall with us individually and as a group, and at the banquet... He was there every step of the way. I think it was one of the best times of his life, to see all of the amazing Ragdolls that wouldn't be here without him. He sat and told us story after story about his experiences to get our precious Ragdoll breed into the cat associations! He made his wishes clear that he NEVER wants to see the solid/self-colored or mink Ragdolls to be allowed into our Ragdoll Standard. He said it would destroy all of the hard work everyone has done. This, and every story he told us, is valuable information for our breed. I pray all of the Ragdoll breeders will want to hold onto the dream that he always intended. This tremendous weekend was truly one of the highlights of Denny's own life. He was awed to see how far his cherished Ragdolls have come. We had some fabulous quality of Ragdolls at this show, and the CFA judges made sure to let us know! We had an unbelievable and golden weekend with our friends, cats & kittens at this beautiful 7th International Ragdoll Congress!
